Frederick > South Korean soldiers stand guard inside the UN building. The guard on the far end guards the door that leads to North Korea while the other guard stands on the border facing the table where leaders from North and South meet.

Frederick > North Korean soldiers stand guard on their side of the MDL. Visitors cannot gesture or point at the North Korean troops and they must also abide by a dress code to prevent our images from being used in propaganda.

Frederick > Frederick at the Military Demarcation Line in the Korean Demilitarized Zone. The blue UN buildings are on top of the border while the large building behind it is in North Korea.

Frederick > Visitors are kept well away from the border to prevent them from goofing off and stepping across the border. While the whole thing doesn't seem that scary, there have been several violent incidents at this location.
